What are the functions of vacuuming, pressurization and pre-pressing in flat vulcanizers?

The role of vacuuming

1. Remove bubbles: During the vulcanization process, vacuuming can effectively remove bubbles from rubber products and avoid the impact of bubbles on product quality and performance.

2. Prevent oxidation: Vacuuming can create an oxygen-free environment, reduce the oxidation reaction of rubber during the vulcanization process, and thus improve the stability and durability of the product.

3. Improve product quality: Through vacuuming, rubber products can fit the mold more closely, making the product shape more accurate, and improving the appearance quality and dimensional accuracy of the product.

4. Expand the scope of application: Vacuuming technology can be applied to the production of a variety of rubber products, such as integrated circuit boards, tires, rubber tubes, etc., to improve the scope of application and performance of the product.

The difference between pressurization and pre-pressing

First of all, in terms of steps, pre-pressing is before the pressurization procedure.

Pre-pressing is a step before formal pressurization. Its main purpose is to pre-place the rubber product in the rubber mold and apply a certain amount of pressure to make it initially form the desired shape.

Pre-pressing helps to remove air and impurities inside the product and improve the quality of vulcanization.

The pre-pressing process may require manual operation, such as mold loading, inflation, etc.

The purpose of pre-pressing is to improve the internal structure of the product and improve the quality of vulcanization.

Through pre-pressing, the air and impurities inside the product can be removed, and the defects and bubbles generated during the vulcanization process can be reduced.

In addition, pre-pressing also helps to make the product better adapt to the shape of the mold and improve the vulcanization efficiency.

Pressurization

In a flat vulcanizer, pressurization refers to the process of applying pressure to the rubber product through a hydraulic cylinder or mechanical device during the vulcanization process when the rubber product reaches a certain temperature,

so that it is plastically deformed according to the shape of the mold, there by completing the vulcanization molding. The pressurization process is usually carried out automatically after the vulcanization temperature and time reach the set value.

The purpose of pressurization is mainly to make the rubber product form the desired shape and size during the vulcanization process, and to ensure that the density and physical properties of the product meet the requirements.

The pressure and temperature control during the pressurization process have an important impact on the quality of the product.

In summary, there are obvious differences in operation, purpose and effect between pressurization and pre-pressing in a compression molding vacuum press. Pressurization is a key step in vulcanization molding,

while pre-pressing is an auxiliary step to improve the quality and efficiency of vulcanization.

In practical applications, it is necessary to select appropriate parameters and operating methods according to specific product and process requirements.
